In order to find the shaded area, you need to subtract the area of the circle from the area of the rectangle.

Therefore:
A(rectangle) = b·h = 11×7 
                               = 77 u²

A(circle) = π·r² = 3.14 · 2²
                        = 3.14 · 4
                        = 12.56 u²

A(shaded) = A(rectangle) - A(circle) 
                  = 77 - 12.56
                  = 64.44 u²
